Happy June E/everyone !  I have MUCH on the horizon.  🙂  It’s festival season, and I’ll be attending a few killer shows.  In case you weren’t aware, I LOVE music, many genres, across the board.  Especially LIVE music.

This weekend I’m going to see Jack Johnson on tour in Maryland.  I adore him.  His albums are consistently uplifting, relaxing and FUN !  But his lyrics are laced with socially conscious anecdotes , that give his work more depth and meaning, IMO.  I’m stoked for the show.  And I can’t wait to be swept away into the fray ! Eeek !

Next weekend I’m off to NYC, to see Misty Copeland, the first African-American to be appointed as an American Ballet Theatre Principal dancer, dance Swan Lake at Lincoln Center.  Consequently, as a Black Woman, Misty’s performance will be particularly unique and important to Me.  I’m so excited, I can barely sit still writing this blog. 😀  My garebear made all of the proper arrangements and will accompany Me to the Ballet.  Good boy.

And finally, Early August I’ll be in VEGAS, watching Britney Spears OWN the stage before she retires. Wheeeee !

Although I KNOW I am deserving of such awesomeness; I regularly remind Myself to live life on purpose and to not take anything for granted.  My most loyal pets bring love and light into My life, through selfless servitude, while assisting in making My most sordid dreams come to fruition.  They make it their mission to provide the best, jaded adventures. Every day I am grateful for and proud of, the life I’ve built on the backs of My slaves.

Being able to share this ” semi charmed life ” with you, mad world, is the proverbial cherry on top. ??
